• Congratulations! to Eric Strange from Colorado Springs, CO who won the 2012 District 9 Open by dominated the tournament and also being recognized as the 2012 District 9 Champion.
  

• Before and After Ratings are the results of a player's rating before this tournament and after it was recalculated from this score-sheet by ACF rating processor, Joe Moore.

• Congratulations! to Ken Shultz from Cosby, TN  who won the 2012 District 9 Open Majors Class with three players: Ken Shultz, Glenn Fuquay from Elon, NC took 2nd place and Steve Blackshear from Lawndale, CA was 3rd place.  They also played a triple round Round Robin.

• Total cash prize was $700 with *4th place Master winning $50 plus a checker book, 2nd place Majors won 2 checker books, and 3rd place won 2 books and a nice checker box.  All books were donated by Charles Walker.

• We appreciate Eric Strange reporting daily results on the ACF Forum about the tournament,  players scores, and positions
  

• We give Gerry Lopez a huge "thank you" for his enormous effort in putting this tournament together.  I will add his tournament summary later when I receive it, and the payout schedule.
